Career History

Vincent Glerum is professor of international and European criminal law at the University of Groningen. He studied at the University of Amsterdam. In 1992, he graduated in Dutch law (specialisation criminal law) and in 1996 he obtained his free law degree. In 2013, he obtained his PhD from the Free University of Amsterdam for a thesis on the grounds for refusal in extradition and surrender law.

Vincent Glerum has worked at the Amsterdam District Court since 1995. His current position is senior legal advisor on European criminal law.
